  1. You need 1 cup of sweet potato (boiled & smashed).
  2. You need 1 tbsp of khoya.
  3. Prepare 1 tsp of refined flour.
  4. You need Pinch of baking soda.
  5. You need 2 tsp of cardamom powder.
  6. It’s 3 cups of sugar syrup.
  7. Prepare as required of Refined oil for frying.

  1. Boil sweet potato,remove the skin & smashed it into a bowl..
  2. In a mixing bowl add smashed sweet potato & knead it well without any lumps..
  3. Add khoya, refined flour, baking soda, cardamom powder & knead it well..
  4. Divide ig into equal portions & make round balks..
  5. Heat oil in a deep kadai,drop the jamuns & cook it on low flame until jamuns are golden in colour..
  6. Transfer hot fried jamuns carefully into slightly hot sugar syrup..
  7. Add cardamom powder.Allow it to rest for 1/2 an hour..
  8. Sweet potato gulab jamuns are ready to serve..
